At last, thanks to Microsoft Windows 7 the latest operating system, supports the user to change the logon screen background without any software just like changing the wallpaper. In previous operating system a thrid-party software was needed to change the logon screen but now thanks to windows it has only become a small procedure.
Just follow these steps to change your logon screen easily:
1.Open a new notepad file and paste this code
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background]
"OEMBackground"=dword:00000001
2. Right click on it and select Merge.
3. Now, head over to the following folder:
C:\Windows\System32\oobe (“C” is your Windows Seven Installation drive)
4. Here, create a new folder named Info. Again, create a new folder inside the Info folder and rename it as backgrounds.
5. Copy your favorite image file to this folder and rename it as backgroundDefault. Note
that the image must be in JPG format and the size should be less than 256 KB.
6. Finished. Restart your system and see the change.
